Chemical and Biological Weapons

The Chemical and Biological Arms Control Institute is a nonprofit corporation established to promote the goals of arms control and nonproliferation, with a special, although not exclusive focus on the elimination of chemical and biological weapons. It fosters this goal by drawing on an extensive international network to provide an innovative program of research, analysis, technical support, and education.

The U.S. Army Soldier and Biological Chemical Command (SBCCOM) has operational missions throughout the United States and a Soldier Systems Center as well as a Chemical Biological Center. SBCCOM is dedicated to develop, acquire and sustain soldier, soldier support and biological and chemical defense technology, systems and services to ensure the decisive edge and maximum protection for the United States.
